To Maserati or not?

By Rita (The reluctant reviewer). During APEC, it seems a no-brainer that someone should have organised drag races down the length of Independence Boulevarde as entertainment . They had the racing cars (Maseratis) and the track. Why didn’t the APEC committee think of that?  Absolutely no imagination? More money than sense (leaving the Maseratis idle)? What? I mean, there would have been a birds’ eye view from up there at APEC House for the VIPs and the splendid sidewalks would have made good viewing platforms for the pubic too.
